Larry Stylinson have been a 'thing' for years now, but it seems like the shipping of the 1D bromance (Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles, FYI) is not going to be going away anytime soon, because it's now been revealed that a 'love' tweet sent from Louis to Harry three years ago has now overtaken the actual PRESIDENT to become the second most re- tweeted post OF ALL TIME. Say what?
A lot of the population are most likely shaking their head in disgust right now - unless you're part of the 1D fandom that is, who'll definitely see this as 'mission accomplished' - but it looks like those Directioners have done it again and completely RULED the Twittersphere.
The fans literally go out of their way to make their voices heard every hour of every day in cyber space, so it's no real surprise that a tweet from Louis to Harry is now well on its way to having 800,000 re-tweets, despite being a few years old. The tweet, that has currently been shared 772,116 times, reads: "Always in my heart @Harry_Styles . Yours sincerely, Louis" N'awwww, we're welling up!
And something so simple - just a lovey dovey post between two BFFs - has now managed to blow President Obama's 'Four More Years' tweet, which was posted after the 2012 election, out of the water. Awks. Obama's post now stands at 757,668 RTs.
Although the Harry/Louis post will probably reach a million posts in no time, it still isn't the most retweeted message of all time just yet, with Ellen DeGeneres famous Oscar selfie in 2014 bagging that spot with an INSANE 3,365,849 RTs.
The Harry and Louis lovin' comes after the boys also stormed into the top five of Tumblr's 2014 'most shipped' list last month. Yes, you read that correctly - welcome to the 21st century, people!
The 1D cuties are well aware that people are still talking about their 'romance' all these years on and although Styles doesn't seem to have an issue with it at all, Louis on the other hand has vented his anger about the whole thing on many an occasion. He's even said it's "f**king annoying", because he's been in a longterm relationship with Eleanor Calder for a few years now.
