Is Rihanna Performing At The Grammys Next Month?

Rihanna could be returning to the stage next month as rumours are suggesting the Stay singer will be performing at the 2015 Grammy awards. Too exciting!

Although there are various rumours swirling about RiRi's new album, the latest report has come directly from her drummer, Aaron Drape, who responded to a series of questions on his Instagram about when he and the band will be heading back out on the road, and it looks as though the Grammys, taking place on February 8, is part of the schedule.

He told one follower: “We have some shows coming up,” and when they asked if they'll be performing at the Grammys, he simply replied: “Yup yup,” according to the Idolator. Of course, this is yet to be officially confirmed by RiRi and the Grammys themselves but being the Rihanna fans that we are, we're going to believe it's true!

Here's the exchange between Aaron and his followers:

Rihanna, 26, is widely believed to be releasing her eighth studio album, titled R8, at some point this year, but she's been hellbent on ensuring details are kept tightly under wraps. When Dash Radio's DJ Skee sent a tweet in November claiming that he had details on the project, Rihanna shot back: "ANY news about #R8 will be delivered directly from me!!!!”

It's not known who will feature on the record, which will follow up RiRi's 2012 LP Unapologetic, although she was recently spotted hanging out with Kanye West at a studio in New York City and she teased a track with Nicki Minaj early last year titled Barz, while Sam Smith also hinted that he had worked on R8.

As for the Grammys, what could RiRi possibly perform? Well, a demo track titled World Peace, leaked online last week and is expected to feature on the album's track list, so maybe the Navy will get to hear the full version on stage? We'll keep you posted!
