2014 has been full of sexy female celebrities but Nicole Scherzinger has trumped them all to be given the title of the sexiest woman of 2014 by EntertainmentWise readers. The star, who introduced 'schamazing' into our vocabulary, got the most votes over the likes of Jennifer Lopez (30%), Cheryl Fernandez Versini (10%) and a whole host of other beauties to win the title.
And why shouldn't she? Through the past twelve months, the star, who scored almost 51% of the vote, has displayed her amazing figure in a series of truly amazing and sexy outfits. Who can forget the eye catching number she wore back in October? Forgotten? Let us remind you, she wore a tight LBD and a pair of bondage style boots when she arrived at Marquee in New York to perform her new single, 'Run'. As she made her way into the building, her toned thighs were clear to see. Oh how we wish we had her thighs. And leather was on the agenda for the 36 year-old when she walked the red carpet at this year's MOBO awards in a simple black dress which featured some cut out detail and hugged her in all the right places.

Cast your mind back to February and particularly to the night of the BRIT Awards afterparty held by Sony Music. Nicole looked pretty amazing in a nude skirt and matching crop top but the former X Factor judge, almost suffered a fashion faux pas when her ample cleavage was close to escaping. Thankfully, Nicole was able to keep it all in.
We don't doubt that there are a lot of people who are jealous of the star's boyfriend and Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton!
With her amazing style, it was only a matter of time before she landed her own clothing range and that is exactly what happened in January when she announced that she was creating a line with online retailer, Misguided. In less than a year, Nic has already produced two collections for the site.
However, Nicole's sexiness isn't just skin deep because the star has been pretty vocal in opening up about her past issues with eating disorders and her feelings about how she looked. Back in July, Nicole revealed on ITV's Lorraine that she spoke out because she wanted to help others. She said: "It took many, many, many years and a lot of times it's just time, maturity and help from other people [that gets you through it] but I didn't give up, I have a very strong faith and an amazing family and good people around me... Nobody's perfect, everybody goes through their own insecurities, their own issues and people always look at me and I'm like ‘;you don't even know half the story, you have no idea'.
"I thought it was important to speak about it because I had gotten over it, I had the courage to finally confront it and talk about it because then I realised I could help other people and I was afraid at first but it's so rewarding to be able to have some of my fans and other people come to me and I can be a voice, I can be a light for them to fight back…Everybody gets in that dark head space and you just have to fight back and there is a better way.”
