Liam Hemsworth's family have remained pretty quiet about his four year romance with Miley Cyrus, which came to an end last September, but now big brother Chris has appeared to take a dig at the Bangerz babe in a new interview with GQ where he talks about his brother's "reckless moments".
Chris, who is pretty much the ideal family man with wife Elsa Patkay and their three children, admitted during the interview that he hasn't always been very "empathetic," when it came to Liam's personal life and claimed he'd been in relationships he shouldn't have been.
"I've watched Liam do things I did at his age, like being in relationships he shouldn't be in, or being reckless just to prove a point," he said of his 24 year-old brother, "And I had no empathy. My mom had to remind me I was the same way."

While Miley isn't mentioned by name, as Liam hasn't dated anyone since and they were together for four years, it's not exactly hard to work out who exactly he means. It was long rumoured that Chris didn't approve of Liam getting engaged at such a young age to the former child star, who was just 19 when the Hunger Games star got down on one knee. Just weeks before he popped the question, Chris had insisted his brother was too young to tie the knot, saying to E!News: "They're like 21 or something… I can't see that happening."

Seems like he was right as Liam and Miley never actually managed to make it down the aisle. Since their break-up, aside from a rumoured romance with Nina Dobrev, Liam has kept things quiet on the dating scene. He was, once again, linked to Hunger Games co-star Jennifer Lawrence with multiple outlets claiming the two were enjoying a 'friends with benefits' type scenario, however it seems to have been just tabloid speculation surrounding the latest Hunger Games movie rather than based on actual truth.
Speaking about his break-up with Miley in a recent interview, Liam insisted there was "no bad blood" between the pair though.
