‘It’s F**ked Up’: Seth Rogen Slams The Media For Publishing Sony’s Hacked Emails

Seth Rogen might be one of the kings of comedy, but it seems the actor isn't laughing anymore and, in light of Sony's recent hacks, has blasted the media for publishing the emails that were illegally infiltrated.

The hacks, which are said to have initially taken place on Nov. 14, are thought to be a retaliation to Rogen's latest movie The Interview. The film, which was co-written by the This Is The End star, sees the actor and pal James Franco play a news team that have been ordered to assassinate the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un. The hackers, who refer to themselves as The Guardians of the Peace, are thought to be North Korea, since they're refusing to stop until Sony pull the movie, but they have denied involvement.

The comedian -- who has had his movie salary, along with others from the project leaked -- previously poked fun at the hacks on an episode of Saturday Night Live but it seems Rogen isn't laughing anymore. Speaking on Howard Stern's radio show yesterday (Dec. 15), the star expressed his disappointment at some media outlets publishing the leaked information, particularly the unveiling of private emails.

"It's stolen information... I think it's f**ked up that anyone is talking about it. And I'm OK talking about my s**t, honestly, because I don't f**king care that much, and the stuff that was stolen from me on the grand scale of s**t is not that bad, but it's f**king stolen," He told the radio host. "I do think it's f**ked up that everyone is doing exactly what these criminals want... "All of this information would literally just be sitting on some obscure corner of the Internet if it wasn't for these news articles exposing the information... "I can't believe people are just so happy be like, 'Look at this stolen information. Hey, let's f**king read it.' (The email authors) are not doing anything illegal. They're not trying to fool you as the consumer. They're having private correspondence with one another."

Emails that have so far been leaked include high profile producer Scott Rudin telling studio chief Amy Pascal that Angelina Jolie was a "minimally talented spoilt brat," and added that her predicted remake of Cleopatra would be a "giant bomb." He went on to tell Miss Pascal to "shut Angie down" because the movie would be the "career-defining debacle for us both. We will end up being the laughing stock of our industry and we will deserve it."

Magic Mike star Channing Tatum also had emails between himself, Pascal, other movie executives and 22 Jump Street co-star Jonah Hill after the film became a box office hit. "F YOU TED !!!! SECOND OF ALLLL TIMMMMME BEEEOTCH!!!! COME ON JUMPSTREETERS WE GOT CATE BLANCHETT WIT DIS BOX OFFICE B*****S!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA," he wrote, with way more HAHAs than we care to write!
