They spent the past four years building a relationship and growing their family and now sadly Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy have gone their separate ways.
In a statement to the press, the “Fool’s Gold” actress’ rep explained, “Kate and Matt have been separated for some time now. Despite this, they remain very close friends and committed co-parents.”
Back in April 2011, Bellamy proposed marriage to Ms. Hudson and in July of the same year Kate gave birth to their son Bingham Hawn Bellamy. And though they were engaged for awhile, Hudson didn’t seem too worried about actually tying the knot. She previously told Women’s Health, "My parents aren't married. And one of the reasons why they never got married is because they had been married before and they liked it the way it was. They didn't feel like they needed a piece of paper to be committed. So for me, I know that marriage is not a golden ticket."
