Lindsay Lohan Hits The Recording Studio With Pop Legends Duran Duran

Lindsay Lohan's previous musical efforts have been a little underwhelming failing to really impact on the charts anywhere in particular. But all that could be about to change after her latest Instagram posting where she is hanging out with some serious pop legends in the form of Duran Duran. Cue legwarmers.

Lindsay, 28, posted a snap of herself and her sister Ali in the recording studio with vocalist Simon Le Bon and keyboard player Nick Rhodes from the chart-topping '80s band and gushed about making music with them. She wrote: "#DuranDuran @alianalohan recording with some greats!!!"

Lindsay - who recently wrapped up her West End theatre stint in Speed The Plow - kept it cool and casual in the snap wearing a jumper and oversized black coat, while her sister - who works as a model and singer - ramped it up a little more in the style stakes in a co-ordinating monochrome crop top and skirt.

However while the Hollywood actress celebrated ten year since the release of her debut album Speak over the weekend it seems she probably won't be duetting with Simon on the track they were working on - it's thought her contribution will be a spoken part, while she leaves the singing to Ali, 20.

A source told The Mirror: "Lindsay was in the studio with the boys from 6.30pm right through to 1am. Lindsay's contribution is more of a spoken word part, while Ali is singing on the track - the sisters will feature on the same song which they thought was really cool."

But while this isn't the moment for Lindsay's big pop return, that doesn't mean one isn't on the cards. In fact she's apparently hoping for her very own release really soon. The insider added: "She has been thinking of giving music another shot recently after recording with Kate Moss' husband Jamie Hince from The Kills, last year."
