Kicking off the week with some promotional duties, Chloe Moretz showed up at the premiere of her new movie “The Equalizer” in Manhattan last night (September 22).

The “Kick-Ass 2” babe was joined by Denzel Washingtonas she posed for photos outside the AMC Lincoln Square Theater, sporting a chic little black dress and a curly coif.

Of Miss Moretz’s audition for the gig, director Antoine Fuqua told press, “She's a 16-year-old girl who walked into my office, sat down on the sofa and I just thought, ‘She's like a little lady.’ She reminded me of a young Jodie Foster.”

Furthermore, added Denzel, “She just has it. Whatever it is, she has it.” And Chloe returned the compliment- “I've only had a couple of moments like that where I'm on set in the middle of a scene and in my head, I'm like wait. I'm acting opposite Denzel Washington…And it's strange and it's beautiful. It's amazing.”
