Gearing up for a spooky new episode, the cast of “Modern Family” gathered on location in Los Angeles on Thursday (September 18) to film some scenes together.

Ed O’Neill, Rico Rodriguez and Sarah Hyland all looked to be enjoying themselves while Sofia Vergara primped up a storm in her Princess Fiona (from ‘Shrek’) getup.

And during the course of the day, Ms. Vergara received an on-set visit from her handsome “True Blood” boyfriend Joe Manganiello.

This past summer, Joe told press that he had his eye on Sofia- “She's got that Latin thing going. She's got the butt, she's got the curves, she's got a beautiful face, beautiful hair, just gorgeous. And she's feisty.”
