Continuing its reign as one of the hottest Netflix programs of all time, “Orange is the New Black” just got renewed for three more seasons.
On Friday (February 5), the online streaming service announced Season 4 will go live on June 17th, followed by Seasons 5, 6 and 7.
Showrunner Jenji Kohan stated, “Three more years! Not quite a political term, but still plenty of time to do some interesting things. In some cultures, ‘May you lead an interesting life,’ is a curse, but I don’t live in those cultures. Here’s to keeping it interesting. Thanks, Netflix! Both thanks and you’re welcome Lionsgate!
