There’s an old saying that the sequel is never as good as the original, however Gillian Flynn may have what it takes to break the curse.
While promoting the forthcoming movie adaptation of her book “Dark Places,” the “Gone Girl” author hinted that there could be a follow-up book (and accompanying film) down the line- “I don’t know if I could go back to the Dunnes quite yet. I think about it every once and awhile. I do. I do. It’s hard to shake sometimes.”
Charlize Theron, who plays the lead in “Dark Places” also chimed in, “I’ll get her drunk tonight and make her sign a contract!” Here’s hoping she followed through on her threat!
