He’s certainly a unique breed of actor and Benicio Del Toro just might be the perfect villain for the forthcoming “Star Wars: Episode VIII,” according to inside sources.
Per an industry snitch, Lucasfilm and Disney have their sights set on the “Usual Suspects” stud for the follow-up to “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” which will hit theaters on December 18th, 2015.
“Star Wars: Episode VIII” has a theatrical date of May 26th, 2017 and if Mr. Del Toro jumps aboard, he’ll join Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley, Carrie Fisher, John Boyega and Mark Hamill, all under the direction of Rian Johnson.
