Furious 7 will be final legacy of Paul Walker brothers Cody and Caleb claim

Furious 7, Paul Walker's final movie in the Fast and Furious franchise premiered on Wednesday night and for fans and the cast it was more emotional than the previous six big screen outings as they said goodbye to their friend. Paul died in December 2013 in a car accident in Los Angeles, age just 40.

Half way through filming, his brothers Cody and Caleb Walker stepped in so the film could be completed. While the movie will inevitably be a huge hit, his brothers have admitted they aren't so bothered about Box Office takings, just that the it lives up to Paul's legacy. Speaking to E!News ahead of the premiere in Los Angeles, they admitted they were nervous about the "emotional" project.

"To be honest, I'm a little nervous to see the completed project from an emotional standpoint," Cody admitted. "We'll be watching it for the first time [Wednesday] at the world premiere. I know it's going to be very emotional. So far, from what I've heard and seen, I think Paul would be proud."

He went on: "I want this film to be the best one yet—and the most memorable. A lot of people are going to remember Paul by this movie, and I want it to be worthy."

Neither brother had been involved in the movie business before joining the shoot, which must have been daunting enough let alone following Paul's tragic death.

"It was an absolute roller coaster throughout the entire process—lots of tears, lots of laughs," Cody said, "It's an experience that I was very hesitant to commit to, but I'm really glad I did. I met a ton of really amazing people and made several life-long friendships."

Praising the cast and his brother Caleb, Cody went on: "was absolutely essential. I don't think either one of us could have done it without the other. It brought us closer than ever at a time where we both really needed it. That is probably the single most important part of making this movie. The entire cast and everyone behind the scenes were amazing. They made Caleb and I feel so welcome and comfortable and made it as natural as possible."
