We can't even begin to imagine what a tough time My Prerogative hit maker Bobby Brown is going through right now as his 22-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown remains hooked to a life support machine at a rehab facility in Atlanta, but after a heartfelt speech the singer gave during a performance at a festival in Los Angeles he made it clear he is grateful for all of the support his family are receiving.
Taking to the stage at the Soul Food Festival in the city, Brown performed some of his greatest hits and also delivered an emotional speech to the packed-out crowd.
"This feels really, really, really good. I want to thank all of y'all for coming out tonight to support me and my family," he said. "You know, rough times are rough times and hard times are hard times. I don't know what the hell I'm going through right now but I'm giving it to God and letting him deal with it.”

Brown's wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, due in July with the couple's second child, was also at the event promoting Bobby's new BBQ sauce range. When asked how the family were holding up she said they were "doing as well as you'd expect."
When asked by TMZ after the 46-year-old's performance if he would have backed out of the gig if the promoters had let him he told them, "Never." We're guessing the question was prompted by recent reports claiming that Brown was furious that he was unable to pull out of three pending Australian tour dates with Treach and Kay Gee of Naughty By Nature at the end of May.

Bobby - who has been by his daughter's bedside since her hospitalisation - has already postponed the dates, which were originally booked for March, but is unable to cancel the trip entirely as prmoters are holding him to his contractual obligation. Even after performing in Los Angeles last night, the singer went straight to the airport to catch a plane back to Atlanta where his daughter remains.
It's been two-and-a-half-months since Bobbi Kristina was rushed to hospital on January 31. The daughter of Brown and singing icon Whitney Houston was found unresponsive in a bath tub at her home in Roswell, Georgia by her partner Nick Gordon and a friend.
