2015 MTV Movie Awards: The low-down on all the night’s mayhem!

The MTV Movie Awards hit Hollywood last night which meant the city's Nokia Theatre was jam-packed with some of the world's biggest and most beautiful stars and in true award show style it wasn't without it's WTF and OMG moments!

Comedienne Amy Schumer made her MTV hosting debut and literally owned the stage the entire night with a series of crude and sarcastic jokes (some of which we dare not repeat!), and while they might not have gone down too well with some of the celebs in the crowd, they certainly had us cracking up.

But despite being the host, the funny blonde was just a tag overshadowed by Insurgent star Shailene Woodley who picked up nearly every award of the night! It literally felt like the Shailene Woodley show at times, but she is super talented so fair play! The 23-year-old scooped the award for Best Female Performance for her role in Fault In Our Stars, as well as Best Kiss and the Trailblazer Award.

Perhaps one of the biggest “Oh my f-ing god” moments of the evening was when Schumer decided to plant a smacker on the lips of curvalicious babe Amber Rose. The two were caught on kiss cam during a commercial break, and it wasn't just a polite friendly peck, it was a full on steamy make-up sesh!

But that wasn't the only time the crowd were guaranteed to get a little hot under the collar as Magic Mike XXL babe Channing Tatum treated the audience (and mainly Jennifer Lopez) to a little sexy dance. When J.Lo was presented the award for Best Scared-As-Sh*t performance she asked the guys if they would show off some movies. “We're not gonna get a little dance number, nothing?” Lopez asked as the audience burst with excitement. “Something! Let's get it! Let's get it!” Never one to disappoint, Channing gave the singer exactly what she asked for with some raunchy grinding action.

The Magic Mike stars weren't the only male eye candy to grace the stage that night either, oh no! Bad Neighbours co-stars Dave Franco and Zac Efron accepted the award for Best Duo in some of their most ridiculous costumes from the comedy. Efron even flaunted a little nip at the crowd, though that's nothing in comparison to the totally shirtless treat we were awarded last year. C'mon Zac, don't be such a prude!

As for the speeches, the best of the night came from Robert Downey Jr., who scooped the Generation Award, and funny man Kevin Hart who was presented the Comedic Genius Award. The Avenger's star's speech was super entertaining, but still humble and genuine, as he walked on stage with his token sunglasses and delivered an enlightening speech to the audience, a segment of which even saw him remind the crowd to “keep your nose clean”. It was classic RDJ from start to finish.

Hart went for a drastic change of pace when accepting his merit. Usually one to go heavy on hilarity, he decided to take things down a notch and the result was actually really touching! He even brought his kids up on stage with him, which made the whole thing even cuter.
