We're guessing telling your daughters that their father's becoming a woman is no easy feat but it's been claimed that reality star Bruce Jenner went straight in at the deep end when he told his children that he was planning to undergo a gender transition.
It's been alleged that Bruce broke the news to his daughters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and step-daughters, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, with a family meeting inside the lavish living room of Kourt's Calabasas, CA, home. If that revelation's got you wishing you could've been a fly on the wall, then turns out you can.
Apparently E! cameras were there to capture the whole thing, and the footage will be shown in an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which will launch its tenth season later this month. According to Us Weekly, the 65-year-old, who recently purchased a plush new home, didn't tiptoe around the subject and was instead very “matter-of-fact” about the whole thing. “He literally started the conversation with, “Hey, guys, I'm becoming a woman, but I'm sure you probably already figured that out,” a source told the mag.

It's claimed Jenner's behaviour had worried his daughters for a while prior to his announcement, especially when the patriarch was pictured looking sorrowful in his car on Jan. 14. There were of course tell-tale signs that Bruce was contemplating becoming a woman. He had started to wear nail polish and was growing out his hair, and in January 2014 the father-of-six had undergone a procedure to flatten his Adam's apple.
“There was so much speculation, and they were all wondering about the truth,” the insider added. “Bruce had to address it with them.” It's not yet known just how much of Jenner's transition will be documented on KUWTK, given that the star is rumoured to have his own docuseries in the works.

“He got a little emotional, but it wasn't a jaw-dropping conversation,” the source said, adding that “it's a surprise to the girls that he's doing this at 65.” As for his daughter's reactions, it seems Kendall and Kylie were completely supportive of their father's news. Model Kendall, 19, reportedly told Bruce to “just be you”, and Kylie, 17, backed her sister's response totally. “They want nothing more than for their dad to enjoy the life he wants to live,” the insider claimed.
Khloe, 30, is said to have already had her suspicions, and always believed Bruce had a feminine side. For her, the news was the final piece of the jigsaw. “It all suddenly makes sense to her,” the source explained. Kim and her sister Kourtney were supposedly the least in favour of Jenner's transition, with the mother-of-one worrying that her step-father would steal the limelight. “Kim had been thinking, ‘;What if Kendall had an event and Bruce shows up in a dress? Won't that steal her attention?” the source said. Meanwhile her sister, who has three children, Mason, five, Penelope, two, and welcomed new son Reign three months ago, “is so wrapped up in her kids and new baby… she doesn't care what Bruce does.”
One family member who isn't too keen on Bruce's transition is his ex-wife Kris Jenner, who reportedly feels completely let down by the whole thing. “Deep down, Kris feels betrayed,” the source added.
