Taylor Swift, known for being one of the cooler, calm and more collected stars on the planet reportedly had an off day, believe it or not during Sunday night's Golden Globes where she ran into one of her A-list ex's Jake Gyllenhaal. Now we've always had Taylor down as being a pretty cool cookie, but according to onlookers even the 25-year-old pop goddess couldn't shake it off, having a “mini meltdown” at one of the night's many star-studded after parties.
The golden girl of the hour and Jake previously dated for a few months back in 2011, when Taylor was still a country music favourite and he was still prime beef for the tabloids. It may have been four years, and several other superstar boyfriends may have come and gone in the meantime, but by the sounds of it Taylor still has a wee soft spot for the Hollywood hunk, who was reportedly less interested in Swifty and more concerned with a number of other women at the bash.
One onlooker, who spilled all to US Weekly, claims that during Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's annual Golden Globes after party, the Blank Space singer was so overcome, she needed to be consoled by her army of gal pals. Moments after 2.00 am, the eyewitness says: “She wasn't dancing but I saw her grab her friend's hand and repeat, ‘;We have to go. We have to go.'”

According to the source, the global chart-topper then ran frantically dotted around the dance floor before her team of girlfriends, including Cara Delevingne, Rita Ora and Fifty Shades of Grey's Dakota Johnson saved the day by calming her down. “The four girls were together and Taylor was having a mini meltdown,” the insider reveals. “Cara's arm was around Taylor, calming her down as Rita looked on. They were talking extremely closely.”
Who'd have thought Jake was even still on Taylor's radar? Well, back in 2012, the majority of the star's Red album, including the lead single We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together was said to have been inspired by the Nightcrawler actor. Well, his indie record's aren't cooler than yours anymore Taylor!

Whatevs, looking at behind the scenes pics of the night, the songstress was surrounded by all of her closest BFFs including Selena Gomez, Lorde and the ultimate agony aunt and superhero feminist Lena Dunham. So if she's going to have a small breakdown, at least she was in the best company for it.

Staying true to her word she recently admitted to People magazine that just the idea of dating again gives her a “partial panic attack”. Well, that explains it then!
"I'm not going to compromise the happiness and independence that I've found for just anybody. The idea of a date gives me a partial panic attack!” she told the magazine.
“It would take an astonishing human for me to even consider getting back into a relationship. It would take something really, really, really, really different - a kind of a one-in-a-million person for me to face all that. I don't have any kid of idea who I'd want to be with, because I don't have any pieces missing from my life right now. I'm not looking for anything to complete. I think that's a nice place to be.''
