A new housemate is confirmed to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house tonight (January 16) and, despite earlier whispers about Josie Cunningham and even last summer's ‘;White' Dee Kelly going in, today there's only one name on everybody's lips: Katie Price. Even though she, er, is in Brussels.
The Sun claims the model has agreed a hefty £500,000 fee, which - if true - would make her the highest-paid housemate of the series, surpassing Katie Hopkins. And actually, it seems it's the controversial columnist who Pricey has her sights set on, if their source is to be believed. But judging by the fact she was photographed arriving in Belgium just yesterday, we're not holding our breath - unless she literally only jetted off for one night.
“Bosses have been after Katie for years but she's always said no,” a source tells the tabloid. "But this time they were desperate after axing Jeremy and Ken and went to her with an offer she just couldn't refuse.

"Katie is keen to settle scores with housemates, particularly Katie Hopkins. She is looking forward to telling the columnist just what she thinks of her. Now she has decided to appear she can't wait to get into the house.”
But again - BELGIUM! We're so torn right now. Did she literally fly all the way to another country just to throw us off the scent?

Before Katie does or doesn't enter, though, there's the small matter of this year's first eviction to get to. It's been a long time coming: the first kick-out was originally set for Tuesday but was scrapped after nominee Ken Morley was ejected for repeated use of offensive language. Chloe Goodman is the bookies' tip to get the boot, with Alexander O'Neal close behind. Alica Douvall and Michelle Visage are widely considered safe.
