Arthur Has Done A Downton Abbey Mash Up And It’s Amazing

There have been plenty of spoofs about the hit ITV period drama Downton Abbey, and the latest one has made a bit of a cartoon make over, courtesy of PBS who thought they would give their younger audience a taste of the critically acclaimed drama.

In fact, for all you 90s kids out there, you're about to get a blast from the past as the period drama has been spoofed by Arthur. Remember: "Everyday when you're walking down the street , everybody that you meet has an original point of view”…

Right, back to the spoof and it's Muffy who finds out that her great-great grandmother was a maid at ‘;Fountain' Abbey and not royalty, as she originally thought. There's scenes in the boardroom and in the downstairs quarters, which have become so familiar to us during the five seasons the drama has been on.

They even recreated the promo shot! (PBS)

Even the room where all the characters meet and chat looks the same! And while Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville and co didn't undergo a cartoon transformation, the characters did a great job in reacting the drama which is currently airing season five on PBS in the US. But this isn't the first time that the cartoon has taken inspiration from another show or featured the voices of a few famous faces.

The Backstreet Boys, the late Joan Rivers and actor Alan Cumming also lent their voices to the hit cartoon which is just as popular today as it was back in the day.
