X Factor Says Goodbye To Andrea And Wagner Returns To The Show!

It's been a hell of a first night of the X Factor Final 20104, which came to a close as we said goodbye to the nation's favourite Italian and master of the power ballad, Andrea Foustini.

From the minute he walked into the audition room all those months ago wearing his shirt with a Pug on it, we knew Andrea was set for stardom. From his first performance of the Jackson 5's ‘;Who's Lovin' You,' his vocals have wowed the judges week after week and made him one of the favourites to win from the very start. His talent for power ballads was unquestionable and his vocal range was amazing, but unfortunately it wasn't quite enough to get him over the last hurdle, as tonight saw his exit from the show and he just missed out on a spot in tomorrow's grand finale.

Celebration was in the air for Fleur East and Ben Haenow as they gained the most votes and are now set to battle it out tomorrow night to be crowned X Factor winner 2014. The two were emotional as they thanked the audience for all their support and expressed their excitement for the next stage of the final. Not only does this mean they have to do this all again tomorrow, but we also get to hear their winner's singles and possibly this year's Christmas number 1!

Another highlight of tonight's show came in the form of one of the most bizarre performances the X Factor has ever seen. And that's saying something. We were graced with the presence of a whole host of former contestants who have made their mark on the show over the years including Steve Richie, who flew to the stage on what looked like a rocket made from foam, Chico and the one and only Wagner.

They joined forces to give us their rendition of ‘;Time of My Life.' Always an entertaining part of any X Factor finale, this was one to be remembered as one of the most disturbing. But it had a certain charm and we had a welcome trip down X Factor memory lane. Dubbed, ‘;The X Factor's Greatest Hits,' by Dermot, we think the likes of Leona Lewis and One Direction might have something to say about that. But we will admit Wagner has a talent on the bongo drums.
