Unbroken EXCLUSIVE Jack O’Connell Insists Angelina Jolie Got Stuck Into The On Set ‘Sausage Fest’

Angelina Jolie can do it all. She's an Oscar winning actress, a devoted mother of six, has bagged Brad Pitt and has turned her talents to directing. And even when surrounded by a cast of men on her new directorial effort Unbroken, Angie fitted right in.

Unbroken stars British actor Jack O'Connell and follows the extraordinary survivor story of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic champ turned US soldier, who spent two years in a Japanese prisoner of war camp after crashing in the Pacific ocean.

Angelina hand-picked 24-year-old Jack to star as Zamperini, with the two now firm friends. And it sounds like that close relationship was immediate, as Angie did her best to become one of the boys on set. In this EntWise exclusive chat with Jack and his cast mates Luke Treadaway and Ross Anderson, Jack insists "it was a sausage fest. For Angie as a director there, she had to understand a lot of what it is to be male."

Jack O'Connell plays the WW2 hero

Jack and his director bonded over one of Angie's most famous roles, Lara Croft Tomb Raider. As Jack points out the ass-kicking heroine, who the actress played in the 2001 film, is a product of his home city of Derby, meaning he had plenty of retrospective pointers for the Hollywood star when it came to her her accent! Check out the full chat with Jack, Luke and Ross in the video below.

Unbroken hits UK cinemas on December 26.

Unbroken is in partnership with FindAnyFilm.com to show that great stories brought to the big screen are worth paying for
