There are so many things that go into the live “Today” show broadcast every single day, and the team at NBC decided to make a musical to show viewers exactly what happens. Earlier today (December 29), Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kotb, Matt Lauer, Al Roker and the rest of the cast and crew sang and danced their way through a 14-minute production that was written by Gifford herself.
And as a special added bonus, Kathie Lee’s former on-air partner Regis Philbin came out of retirement to make a thrilling guest appearance.
While on screen, Philbin actually makes a discovery as the talented prop master Sal Cacciato blows him away with his vocal abilities. Check the clip!
