Prince William And Kate Middleton Meet Jay-Z And Beyonce At Nets Game

Jay-Z and Beyonce weren't the only kind of royalty at the Brooklyn Nets latest game on Monday night - they were joined courtside for the match by none other than Prince William and Kate Middleton during their current stateside visit.

The US power couple met and shook hands with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who were sat directly opposite them to take in the Nets game against the Cleveland Cavaliers as part of their current three day trip to New York City. William, Kate, Jay and Beyonce were filmed smiling and chatting as they shook hands at the event.

One attendee described how the Royals arrived at their seats in the Barclay Centre seven minutes in to the third quarter of the game and "got a standing ovation," from fans who were busy "snapping pics of them instead of watching the game." William was seated next to former NBA player Dikembe Mutombo who was "explaining the game to him," as they watched all the action from courtside.

During the break between the third and fourth quarter Jay-Z and Beyonce walked across the court to greet Wills and Kate and one attendee told US Weekly that during the meeting the sounds of "God Save the Queen" and then "Crazy In Love" were heard being played around the arena. Amazing.
William and Kate - who is pregnant with the couple's second child - also met with two of the NBA's finest players LeBron James and Kevin Garnett after the game posing for photos with the pair, who handed them a tiny jersey printed with the number 1 and George for their son Prince George.
There can't be many people Jay and Bey would get up out of their seats and walk over to meet at a game!
