We all know Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift are BFFs but it looks like he is trying to play cupid for his buddy after admitting he dreams of a romance between her and Orlando Bloom because he thinks they would be just perfect for each other. Awwww.
Talking in a new interview Ed, 23, confessed that he thinks Taylor, 25, would be a great match for 37-year-old Orlando, despite the 12-year age gap. The ginger chart-topper sang the praises of fellow Brit Orlando as he described the potential of the match - which isn't so far fetched when you realise the pair live in the same building.
Ed told Now! Magazine: “He's lovely, and they live in the same building. [I'm hoping that ] the magic might present itself eventually.” There's a big potential here for Taylor's pal Selena Gomez to introduce the two - and she could even do it by just popping over while visiting her pal. Plus Ed does have a point, Taylor and Orlando would look totally cute together no?!

Plus Taylor needs a good man by her side if she chooses to give up her single life and Orlando seems a viable choice. She's already in demand mnusically with the like of Jay-Z vying to get on her next record with rumoured plans of a duet with his wife and chart queen Beyonce.
A source told HollywoodLife: “He knows that Taylor is an extreme powerhouse. He has told Taylor his ideas — he wants to do music with her, and he also wants her to do music with Beyonce.” So maybe that explains why they showe up at her birthday party earlier this month!
