Huge congratulations are in order for Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz who welcomed their second child together last week, a bouncing baby boy called Genesis Ali Dean.
The new addition was born at 1.53am on Saturday morning weighing in at a healthy 6lbs 5oz. Alicia, 33, announced the news via Instagram, uploading a snap of her new baby's footprints with the caption, "The joy of joy is joy!! It's a boy!! We are so grateful!!#blessings!!"
The Hollywood couple are also the proud parents of four-year-old son, Egypt, who has been preparing to become a big brother for months. "He's not going to be the baby anymore," Alicia told E! News. "He's already preparing. He has like a little doll where he's like, ‘;Am I supposed to be doing this? Am I supposed to be doing that?' He's so ready. It's a blessing."

The Girl on Fire hitmaker garnered attention for her stylish pregnancy wardrobe, and just last week she attracted another fan in the form of Bono. Captioned, "Baby love from Uncle B Maybe the baby will be our Christmas gift... we'll let u know," an Instagram snap showed the U2 frontman bending down to kiss Alicia's baby bump through her shimmering silver gown. And whilst the baby didn't make it quite in time for Christmas, at least the couple will be able to see in the New Year with their new addition.
This is the second child for Alicia, but her husband Swizz, 36, can now boast that he's a father of five. The rapper's first child, Prince Nasir Dean, 13, is from his relationship with Nicole Levy, but the identity of his other children has been kept quiet. It is only known that he has a child with ex-wife, Mashonda, whom he split with after four years and a daughter with a Russian singer.
