She never seems to stop working, and Anna Kendrick paid a visit to “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Wednesday night (December 17).
The lovely “Twilight Saga: New Moon” lady plugged her forthcoming movie “Into the Woods,” though she was definitely critical of the fairytale genre of literature .
Kendrick explained, “It’s about how fairy tales are dishonest, and they tell us that things in our life are going to be simple, and they aren’t.”
A concerned Stewart mentioned that his daughter was watching the interview and blurted out, “She’s just f*cking kidding. Life’s a dream, sweetie. Go to bed!”
As for her experience singing in a corset as Cinderella, Anna described, “It’s like being temporarily asthmatic. The simplest things become significantly more difficult,” also noting that costar Chris Pine intentionally made her laugh which caused even more pain!
