Kim Kardashian has revealed that her full frontal shoot for Paper magazine wasn't just an attempt to break the internet, but also the perfect opportunity to plug her haircare line. Kind of. It turns out that Kim's greased up look is the product of her own hair oil which she says she used to get that slithery style. Well, at least it comes in handy for something.
Chatting to Fox FM's Fifi and Dave about the shoot, which became one of the most talked about moments of the year, Kim spilled all the detail on achieving her slippery makeover, just in case you were wondering. “I have a haircare line, it was actually my hair oil that I used... a little bit of that,” she enlightened listeners. “You have to get creative with good lighting and oil."
The Kardashian sisters teamed up with Farouk Systems for their own beauty range Kardashian Beauty, which has now extended into a haircare line featuring a range of products and styling tools including Kim's hair oil. Well, we had no idea until now as Kim flogs the line in what could be one of the most famous adverts of the year. So, she may not have broken the internet but at least she's made a fair buck shifting beauty products.
The shot, which shows Kim baring her greased up deriere while sliding out of a glistening cocktail dress, became the hottest topic of the month last week when the reality star debuted the controversial image on her Instagram. Unsurprisingly, opinion was divided and sparked hundreds of parodies and hilarious memes.

Kim has since claimed that she hoped to “inspire” women to gain more self-confidence with the shoot. But since the whole thing was revealed to be photoshopped it's hard to feel too inspired. Sorry Kim.
