A former head of security for Rihanna has filed a defamation lawsuit against the singer.

Geoffrey Keating, who worked with the "Diamonds" songstress between October 2012 and July 2013, filed papers in the case on Monday (April 28) from his base in Ireland.

Mr. Keating alleges the Barbados born beauty made untrue allegations about him in a July 11, 2013 email, which was sent to him and his wife.

In addition, he says RiRi defamed him in a phone call to his sister.

The suit asks for damages, as well as a published correction. No comment has been made by Rihanna's camp.
