Prince William & Kate Middleton Unveil Queen Elizabeth II Portrait in New Zealand

They may be thousands of miles from home and staying in luxury digs, but Prince William and Kate Middleton are definitely not on vacation.

Earlier today (April 10) the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge showed up at the unveiling of a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Kiwi artist Nick Cuthell at the Government House in Wellington, New Zealand.

Will and Kate have been lovingly embraced by the locals during their Royal Tour of New Zealand and Australia, with one former Brit joking about taking care of their son Prince George.

Local lady Jan Cross told press, "I said 'is George OK?' and William said 'yes' and I asked if he enjoyed himself at Plunket and he said he had. Then he said, ‘You can do some babysitting for us if you like.’ I would love to help out with George for the day."
