Prince William & Kate Middleton: Sailing Sweethearts in Auckland

Making the most of every moment in New Zealand, Prince William and Kate Middleton showed up at the Viaduct Basin in Auckland for a sailing adventure today (April 11).

Joined by Dean Barker and Team New Zealand, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge looked well-rested and in good spirits despite their jam-packed schedule and the inevitable jet lag they’re experiencing with their son Prince George.

Once on the water, Kate showed her competitive side as she raced against her handsome hubby while crowds of people cheered from the shore.

Furthermore, the Prince and his lady also visited military personnel at a nearby facility with one reporter tweeting, “William and Kate have arrived at Whenuapai Air Force base."

Auckland’s mayor Len Brown told press "It’s a huge honor to welcome William and Kate to Auckland. They’re a lovely couple and great RNZ Air Force crowd here at Whenuapai."
