Lindsay Lohan Prank Calls Oprah Winfrey & Opens Up About Sobriety “The Late Show”

She’s starring in a docu-series for OWN called “Lindsay” and Lindsay Lohan played a joke on her network boss Oprah Winfrey on “The Late Show with David Letterman” last night (April 9).

The “Mean Girls” star ended up calling Winfrey and Letterman used a phony voice to pretend he was Lohan’s secretary.

Clearly not fooled by the ruse, Oprah demanded, “Who is this?” And once she learned it was the late night host, Winfrey declared, “Very good, Dave! The David Letterman who’s retiring?!”

Of LiLo’s progress in sobriety while being filmed every day, Oprah noted, "I think she's doing OK."

She added, "To have cameras following you around for every phase of your life, and you are trying to pull your life together, that's a really difficult thing. We're really pleased she's making some progress."

David fired back, "Oprah, I've spent 30 years trying to pull my life together. Where the hell have you been?"
