He’s best known as a deejay/hard-partying cast member of “Jersey Shore,” but now Pauly D [real name Paul DelVecchio] has a whole new title- father.

The MTV reality television star and an unnamed babymama said hello to their little girl earlier today (October 22) and Pauly is “very excited” and “has always wanted kids.”

DelVecchio “didn’t have a previous relationship” with his daughter’s mom, but “he’s hoping to develop a relationship with her,” says a close friend.

The source added, "[He] wasn't exactly planning for it to happen this way, but God works in mysterious ways. He’s ready to jump in and take responsibility as a father."

Meanwhile, Pauly's "Jersey Shore" co-star Jenni “JWoww” Farley shared her praise exclusively to E! and said, "Holy s**t I just heard!"

"I'm so f**king happy for him I just texted him. Crying! He's going to be the best dad ever!" she added.
