She’s known for her “Top Chef” gig, but Padma Lakshmi looked like she belonged on “Top Model” while frolicking on the beach on Monday (October 7).

The 43-year-old culinary master paraded around the Honolulu, Hawaii sand in a skimpy red two-piece bikini while her daughter Krishna looked on.

And while her regular gig involves eating all kinds of gourmet food, Padma isn’t worried about being ready for her close-up.

She told press, "Having been a model for 15 years, I...know a thing or two about how to dress if I've put on a few pounds. I usually gain 15 pounds in the time it takes for us to shoot Top Chef, and it takes me double the time to lose it.”
