She's made quite a name for herself thanks to her hit single "Royals," and now Lorde scored a feature in the November 2013 issue of Marie Claire UK.

During her Q&A session with the publication, the 16-year-old singer shared details about her new album Pure Heroine and even revealed her favorite celebrity fans.

On Pure Heroine:
"The album is definitely aimed at my peers. There's a lot of anxiety about social things and feeling alone - typical teen stuff."

On her fans:
"It's awesome to know people whose work I like enjoy my music. I definitely get a little bit star-struck when it's someone huge. With Emma Watson, I was like, 'What? Get out!'"

On her busy career:
"When I first got signed [age 12] it was on the strength of my voice; I wasn't even writing my own songs. Electronic music was my first love and something I wanted to explore, but I didn't get the chance until I met my producer, Joel Little. Very quickly we stumbled on my sound: electronic pop music with something to say."
