Awards show season is alive and well, and the 41st Annual American Music Awards just unveiled their list of nominees.

“American Idol” legend Kelly Clarkson and Black Eyed Peas mastermind will.i.am had the honor of announcing the names of the hopefuls in each category, and competition is going to be fierce.

Additionally, this year the AMAs will take a big step forward by introducing a brand new category- Single of the Year.

The 41st Annual American Music Awards will air on ABC on November 24th. And the nominees are:
