Braving some rainy conditions, Kelly Clarkson showed up at ABC Studios in New York City’s Times Square on Thursday morning (October 10).

The “Breakaway” songstress looked gorgeous in a red lace overlay dress as she exited the building following her appearance on “Good Morning America,” where she announced the nominees for the 2013 American Music Awards.

On Wednesday (October 9) Kelly was in the house at “The View,” and she gave fans a little preview of her late October nuptials in an eggshell white wedding dress.

Of her forthcoming Wrapped In Red Christmas record Clarkson declared, “I have been dying to make this album since I was a kid!”

Kelly and her fiancé Brandon Blackstock plan on tying the knot in the weeks to come, though it won’t be a huge celebrity bash. “We just got off tour so in a couple of weeks we're just taking the kids and doing something really small.”

“He has two kids. He has a 12-year-old and a six-year-old, and they're awesome. I really lucked out on that. I love it. They laugh at me. I love doing the homework, I love going to the games.”
