Gearing up for next week's release of her new album, Katy Perry performed two songs on "Saturday Night Live" (October 12).

Starting off safely, the 28-year-old pop star belted out her hit "Roar" with a jungle-themed stage setup and a cheetah-print costume.

Later that night, the "Firework" singer busted out a new song, "Walking on Air" in front of a white stage set.

In contrast to "Roar," "Walking on Air" is more of an electronic dance tune that's likely to be a club favorite. Check out Katy's performances in the players below.
