Her gamble on the “Bethenny” talk show doesn’t seem to be paying off, so Ellen DeGeneres is gearing up for a brand new show for the NBC Network.

This time around, the much-beloved entertainer is teaming up with her former “Ellen” writer Liz Feldman to develop a sitcom that’s sure to be hilarious.

Per industry reports, DeGeneres’ new show will “focus on a lesbian and her straight male best friend who have a baby together right before he meets his eventual wife.”

While Ellen most likely won’t star in the show, she’ll take an active role in the overall vibe and perhaps even some producing and writing duties.
