With the third season of her hit drama "Homeland" already underway, Claire Danes graces the cover of British Vogue magazine's November 2013 issue.

While striking a few poses for the Nathaniel Goldberg-shot spread, the Emmy-winning actress dished about working in Hollywood and shared more details about the third season of her Showtime series.

On returning to acting:
"My real anxiety was that I would never want to work again. Because it's so intoxicating, the bond is just so viscous. It's like superglue."

On becoming a mother:
"I was in a fairly alien place, freezing, didn't know many people at all. Being a new mom is quite isolating to begin with. I was literally without any of my family or friends or resources. So it was a tough entry into motherhood. It's so wonderful, but those first three months are so disorientating. I was in a bubble. A very cold bubble."

On her husband, Hugh Dancy:
"That British reserve is so welcome. I come from the land of therapy and love it, therapy is great, but Hugh really helped me discover that, a lot of the time, I'm just tired. I don't have to go through this labyrinthine explanation, there doesn't have to be that much back story, I can just be in need of a nap."

On her character in "Homeland" this season:
"One of the overarching themes of the show is loneliness and sacrifice. Carrie's isolation is being really, really stretched to its outer limits. She's very stranded in this season. And I'm feeling very bonded right now. So there's a real dichotomy there. Carrie and her reality could not be more antithetical to burgeoning motherhood."
