He might be one of America's Olympic gold swimmers, but unfortunately it appears that E! doesn't think Ryan Lochte is reality television material.

His series "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" was cancelled after having a low-rated first season, sources confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.

The eight-episode series featured the 29-year-old Olympian training for the 2016 summer games while dealing with his personal life. The season ended in May average a total of 440,000 views.

Although E! may have pulled the plug on the series, a source states that the network hopes to work with athlete in the future.
