Patiently waiting to snag a cab, Rihanna walked in the rain in New York City on Monday (September 2).

The 25-year-old singer held her umbrella (ella-ella) above her head while carefully keeping her red Adidas high-low dress out of the puddles.

Enjoying her time in the Big Apple, the "We Found Love" singer posted a photo of herself smoking on her hotel balcony with the caption, "She. x NY state of mind."

Later, Ri-Ri got her smoke on again, posting a photo of her NYC-themed ash tray with a lit cigar on it and the comment, "...city b---h!!!"
