Prince William: Goodbye Royal Air Force!

He’s served faithfully as a search and rescue pilot for the past seven years, and now Prince William has announced he’ll move on from his post with the Royal Air Force.

With his new found free time, the Duke of Cambridge will “expand his work in the field of conservation, particularly in respect to endangered species.”

William will also work closely with the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry for philanthropic ventures.

A statement from a Royal spokesperson reads, "The Duke will continue to work with his charities on issues relating to children and young people, veterans and serving members of the Armed Forces. The Duke is currently considering a number of options for public service, a further announcement on which will follow in due course."
