It’s an exciting time for Mario Lopez and his wife Courtney, as she just gave birth to a happy and healthy baby boy.

The “Saved By the Bell” hunk took to his Twitter page last night (September 9) to share the blessed news with the whole world.

Mario tweeted, “It’s a boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please welcome Dominic Lopez to the world. Couldn’t be happier… Courtney and baby are doing just fine.”

Prior to Dominic’s delivery, Mario told press that their two-year-old daughter Gia Francesca had come to terms with her role as an older sister.

“She’s pointing at the baby and saying, ‘There’s a baby in there.’ She wants to know if it’s a boy or a girl, but we don’t know because we’re waiting to find out. That’s kind of tough sometimes, we just don’t know!”
