Stepping out for a round of running errands, Joseph Gordon-Levitt showed up in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood on Monday (September 23).

The “Dark Knight Rises” hunk looked handsome in a black ball cap with a navy t-shirt and cuffed jeans with sneakers as he hustled up the street.

Joseph has been promoting his new movie “Don Jon” as of late, and he’s especially proud that it’s his directorial debut (he wrote it, too).

Gordon-Levitt shared, “The first kernel of an idea was trying to get at a story of how people treat each other more like things than like people and how media can play into that. I think it’s something everybody does to everybody else. We sort of have a tendency to pigeonhole each other.”
