It’s an answer to years of prayers from millions of fans, and this morning (September 24) Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reported to the set of “Dumb and Dumber To.”

The “Truman Show” star posted a photo to his Twitter account to announce both the sequel as well as his new book “How Roland Rolls.”

Carrey captioned, “How Roland Rolls comes out TODAY but it may be a little too sophisticated for Lloyd and Harry! Yep... THEY'RE BAAAAA…"

Earlier this summer, Daniels excitedly announced that a “Dumb and Dumber” follow-up was in the works. “Jim [Carey] has been against all sequel, and you know, understandably so. But he turned 50 and that will mellow you out, and suddenly he’s going, ‘Let’s have some fun… Come on,’ and we’re going, ‘Great.’”

“And so the Farrellys said, ‘This isn’t about money grab. Let’s really write a great second movie that takes the original and then blows it up even further,’ and so I think they did that.”
