Perhaps a bit overzealous in the protection of his pregnant wife, Jennifer Love Hewitt's fiancée allegedly got into a scuffle with a paparazzo on Friday night (September 6).

According to TMZ, the pair were leaving Toscana restaurant in Brentwood, California when a shutterbug persisted in snapping pics after being asked to stop.

Next, Brian Hallisay had enough and the ensuing tussle allegedly caused the camera to hit the photographer in the face.

Later, the paparazzo went to the police and filed a battery report against the "Client List" star's fiancée and an investigation is still pending.
