He’s grown increasingly independent in recent years, and now it seems James Franco has decided to continue his career sans manager.

The “Spring Breakers” stud has fired Miles Levy, the man who helped steer his career for almost 20 years.

As for the reason behind the split, neither Franco nor Levy have offered any explanation, though James is still represented by CAA overall.

In career news, Mr. Franco is in the middle of shooting “The Sound and the Fury” in Mississippi- he’s writing/starring/directing the project.
