He’s been busy promoting his new flick “Prisoners,” due in theaters Friday (September 20), and yesterday (September 18) Jake Gyllenhaal showed up at ABC Studios in New York City.

The “Day After Tomorrow” hunk looked handsome in a grey suit with a black button-up top as he scurried out the studio door following his interview on “Good Morning America.”

Jake stars alongside “Les Miserables” heartthrob Hugh Jackman in the movie, and he told press that their onscreen chemistry is a product of their affinity for each other.

Gyllenhaal noted, "I hope this doesn't come across as too much of a fluff piece with two actors who really, really loved working with one another."

Hugh added that his wife Deborra-Lee Furness is actually quite similar to Gyllenhaal- "She has a lot of qualities of Jake, actually. When the two of them got together, Deb's like, 'I like him, he reminds me of me. He's awesome.’ What comes into their heads comes out. They are idealistic, big dreamers, quite romantic. Both have a wicked sense of humor, very naughty. Don't tell them what to do."
