Spending the holiday at the beach, Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie took Luca to Malibu on Monday (September 2).

The "Lizzie McGuire" star wore a green tank top and white shorts over her bikini as she played in the sand with little Luca, who sported an L.A. Dodgers cap while his daddy stayed close by.

Recently, the 25-year-old working mom hinted that she'll soon be making a return to music during a Twitter interview.

Speaking about her plans, Hilary shared, "I'm exploring a lot of cool options and don't want to give a timeline yet but I promise exciting stuff is coming. I'm super into EDM [electronic dance music]. Definitely catchy hooks. I've cared a lot about lyrics and love to dance."
