Fans are just beginning to recover from the news that Ben Affleck will play Batman in the next film, but execs are assuring audiences that he's right for the job.

According to Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara, the caped crusader will be quite different from his predecessors.

Calling the choice, "perfect," he told investors, "We think it's going to be huge." However, fans can expect the "Argo" star to embody a very "tired and weary and seasoned" hero who's been "doing it for awhile."

With Henry Cavill reprising his role as Superman, the new flick will follow a face-off between the DC Comics mainstays.
